Excel Hyperlinks

You can create a hyperlink to a web page, existing Excel file, place in the current document or e-mail address. Right click on the cell that contains the hyperlink to edit or remove the hyperlink.

To create a hyperlink, execute the following steps.

1. Select a cell.

2. On the Insert tab, click Hyperlink.

Click Hyperlink

The 'Insert Hyperlink" dialog box appears.

Hyperlink to Existing File or Web Page

To create a link to a web page, simply type in the address of the web page and the text to display.

To create a link to an existing Excel file, select the file from the 'Look in' drop-down list.

To create a link to a place in this document, execute the following steps.

1. Click 'Place in This Document' under Link to.

2. Type the cell reference and the text to display.
