Quick Access Toolbar

If you use an Excel command frequently, you can add it to the Quick Access Toolbar. You can even add commands to the Quick Access Toolbar that are not in the ribbon. By default, the Quick Access Toolbar contains the Save, Undo and Redo button.

Add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar

To add a command to the Quick Access Toolbar, execute the following easy steps.

1. Click the 'Quick Access Toolbar' button.

2. Click More Commands (or select a command from the list).

Note: also see the option to show the Quick Access Toolbar below the Ribbon.

3. Under Choose commands from, select Commands Not in the Ribbon.

4. Search for 'Form' and click Add.

5. Click OK.

Now you can launch a data form by clicking the Form command on the Quick Access Toolbar.

Here's another way to add a command button to the quick access toolbar.

6. Go to the command on the Ribbon.

7. Right click the command, and then click 'Add to Quick Access Toolbar'.

8. To remove a command from the Quick Access Toolbar, right click the command on the Quick Access Toolbar and choose 'Remove from Quick Access Toolbar'.
