Save to SkyDrive
If you have a Windows Live ID (Hotmail, Messenger, XBOX Live), you can save your Excel files to your Windows Live SkyDrive. You can then access your Excel files from any computer and edit them with the Excel Web App. You can give access to anyone with a Windows Live ID.
Save to SkyDrive
To save an Excel file to your Windows Live SkyDrive, execute the following steps.
1. Open a workbook.
2. On the File tab, click Save & Send, Save to Web, Sign In.

Note: If you don't have a Windows Live ID, you can sign up by clicking on the link below the button.
3. Enter your credentials and click on OK.

4. Select a folder and click on Save As.

Note: Click New to create a new folder.
5. Enter a workbook name and click on Save.

Share a folder
To share a folder with Excel files, execute the following steps.
1. Go to office.live.com and sign in with your Windows Live ID.
2. Click a folder.

3. Click Share folder.

4. Enter an e-mail address and click Share.

Note: The user receives a link to your Sales folder. At the moment the user can edit the Excel files.
5. Select 'Can view' from the drop-down list to change the permission.

6. You (and other users) can edit these Excel files with the Excel Web App from anywhere without having Excel installed on your computer.
Note: If you plan on sharing your Excel files to a wider audience, it's probably better to upload it to a reliable dedicated server.
